
David A. Taylor
CEO and President
David joined UCG in May 2011 as Chief Operating Officer, and assumed the role of CEO and President in 2012. In his role, he provides leadership for all University Center Member University relationships, academic programming and expansion, community engagement, strategic planning, finance and administration, marketing, operations, information systems and services, and human resources.
Prior to joining the University Center, David’s 25-year career included division level and corporate leadership positions at NCR Corporation, Teradata, and AT&T. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Anderson University after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance with Honors from the University of Tennessee. He also completed the Advanced Management College program at Stanford University and is a lifetime member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business Administration for high scholastic attainment during his MBA degree. David is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the Greenville Health System’s Medical Experience (MedEx) Academy.
David is married to Laura Taylor and he has a stepdaughter and a stepson. They are all members of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Greenville; and, the family is very active and greatly enjoys their dogs, outdoor activities, travel, and wonderful activities around Greater Greenville.

Lynne joined the staff of the University Center in October of 2012, but is no stranger to higher education or UCG. Prior to her current role as Director of Community Relations, she was the Student Services Coordinator for the RN/BS and Masters program for the Clemson School of Nursing, which is housed at the University Center.
In her current role, Lynne is able to draw upon her prior experience in special event management, public relations, marketing, volunteer coordination, advisement and the ever present “other duties as assigned” to bring a unique perspective to the University Center’s management team. She is blessed and thankful to be able to serve an organization that provides educational access to the Greater Greenville community and enjoys working with students and the University representatives.
A Clemson Tiger through and through, Lynne has both her BA and MEd from Clemson and also worked on the main Clemson campus for almost twelve years as the Conference Manager and the Director of Constituency Programs for the Clemson Alumni Association. She also spent two years as the Resource Development Coordinator for a local non-profit organization in Greenville prior to her position with the Nursing Department.
Lynne and her husband Tony, live in Simpsonville, SC with their two daughters.

Robin Paul
Director of Library Services and Accounting Manager
Robin Paul is the Director of Library Services and the Accounting Manager of the University Center of Greenville. Robin joined the University Center in January 2005 as a weekend library clerk and has gradually added other duties. She is an alumnus of the University of South Carolina and earned her MLIS here at the University Center.
Robin’s responsibilities as the Director of Library Services include professional Librarian student services, library equipment technical support, library facility management and services, and delivering PASCAL materials. As Accounting Manager, she processes all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivables, and governmental notices, and conducts vendor relationships. She is responsible for Human Resources policies and practices, including workman’s compensation, health insurance, privacy laws and 401(k) plans.
Robin’s education background includes the following:
- Certificate of Graduate Study in Library Collections & Services for Adults, earned December 2003.
- Master’s in Library and Information Sciences, earned December 2003.
- Bachelor of Business Administration, major in Accounting, with honors, earned August 1990.
- Bachelor of Science, major in Management, earned December 1986.
She is a member of the South Carolina Library Association and the Southeastern Library Association.

Jay Dugaw
Director of Operations
Jay is the longest serving staff member of the University Center of Greenville. After serving on active duty (USN), Jay worked his way through college and graduated at the age of 29 from the College of Charleston (B.S. Business Admin, Finance). He has great respect and admiration for non-traditional students and appreciates the challenges they must overcome to complete a degree.
Jay has served in a variety of organizations including:
- Sole proprietorship
- United States Navy
- A regional private company
- A research university
- An educational non-profit
This range of military, private, and third sector jobs prepared Jay for his current duties. He is responsible for all areas of day-to-day operations and technology support including the critical paraprofessional functions of security and maintenance. In addition, he schedules classrooms that match instructional needs with instructional spaces. He coordinates small to medium capital improvement projects including technology. Jay oversees both the front desk personnel and the Technology Specialists. Lastly, he provides counsel to the CEO.
Creating and maintaining an environment conducive to teaching and learning is Jay’s daily focus. This support of faculty and students facilitates the growth of high quality academic programs from our partner universities.
Moore, SC, is home to Jay, his wife, Jill, and their children.
